Another day with a helpless soul and a mind full of thoughts running through. I couldn't sleep soundly ever since that day... I have been sleeping like 2am or 3am and waking up suddenly where my eyes will just open instantly and getting me all worried and confused at 5am, 6am and 8am... Sigh. It scares me and i will try to put myself back to sleep again. I guess i just need some time before i get over all these.
So finally had a date with MARTE after 12482359 years. Since there's always 1/2 missing when we planned an outing. So this date also will be our 'last' since Ros, Tiff and I will be starting out Internship for the following months, Ed will be busy with his FYP and Anna will be either working or still enjoying her holidays before her Uni starts.
Initially we decided on KBBQ but few days before the date i don't know why we suddenly decided to change and so Ed and i suggested Mookata, however, we don't know which Mookata is nice since it was our first time so we ended up sticking with our initial plan. Hahaha.
So they decided on the KBBQ which was at Junction 10, near Bukit Panjang. We met for Dinner although we suppose to spend our day together from the afternoon but Anna had work and Tiffany had checkups so we went ahead and met in the Evening for dinner. Ed and Anna tried before and they said it was not bad so yea.
Luckily Ed made reservation because while we were eating halfway, there was a queue. So yay. Ohya, there was like a 2 hours time limit to eat. Lol. I guess their business is really good till the extend they have to set a time limit. So we got our table and before taking the food i knew i had to bun my hair up before it smells all bbq and stinky.
Before i continue, i wanna mention that outta the 5 of us 4 of them are KPOP 'material', except me. To start off, Ros was the very first that got all obsessed and engross to KPOP related then slowly she introduced WGM(if i'm not wrong), to Tiff which was her starting point to get all over KPOP related too then she tried to persuade Anna to watch which also manage to get into her... In the midst of all these sharing and introducing, they did tried to convince and persuade and 'poison' me too but i just couldn't be bothered and didn't relaly have to time too so YAY.
I was a survival... together with edmund actually. Until just recently, last month, he suddenly started watching some or rather a lot of K dramas and BAM, another 'victim', in my eye, because i thought he was stronger than Ks... He even went to an extend of naming himself, 'KED', when he told me i thought it was another artist but no... it's his name, 'K + Ed = KED', i totally got mindblown when he told me that. Whut da fuck man.
If i have to rank 4 of them from craziest to least, it would be:
Ros(Kosanna), Ed(Ked), Tiff, Anna...
I'm the only zero or rather slightly below neutral. I'm fine with Kpop, i used to learn their dance and check out some MVs in the past too, but over the years, it slowly became huge and some things which are too much will slowly get annoying... So yeaaaa...
OKAY BACK TO TOPIC.
So we all put our bags down and went to take the food~ We weren't really super hungry though. Anyway, digress a bit again, my lips were drying terribly these days, suddenly and i bought back my all time fav lip balm brand Lipcool and it worked instantly. Ol' is gold. Hahaha.
So the food were all placed nicely but the varieties were actually quite limited i should say.
After taking the 1st serving we started cooking and eating. The seaweed soup was pretty good and there were sushi too but it was ok only. I thought there won't be any fish because KBBQ are always pork, beef and chicken but there were cooked fish and it tasted pretty good! Yes, fish iz ma fav meat.
So Ed was like complaining that he didn't want to cook and shit but he still did. Lolol. So when Tiff and I went to take the food there was like one of the main korean dish called Doebokki or something like that but it was spelled with a 'T' so i told Tiff about that and she went, 'wah, not bad ah at least you know the correct spelling'. I responded with a, '-_-' Hahaha. I'm not that zero when it comes to Korean related plsssss...
So i knew there were gonna be a whole load of meat so i tried to take and eat as much veggie as i can to balance up. Their salad was not bad. So i think i ate like 2347295 wraps of the one where people take a lettuce and put the meats and chilli paste inside and down it. Hahaha well, that's like the only few i can eat anyway, other than eating the meats alone.
I would say i was quite satisfied with the beef because it was quite delicious. As for the chicken and pork i thought it was so-so only. The pork they didn't really thaw it so when we took it, it was still frozen slightly because it was quite hard...
So while eating, there were obviously televisions in the shop and MVs were playing and suddenly Ros, Ed and Tiff went a little into it. They know i'm not really a big fan so they will, 'See Mandy gonna rage already.' Hahaha of course i didn't la, i'm not like that to that extend. They assume i will get angry because whenever they talked about the groups and all i will start to look at them because i just like to observe their reactions and all that's all, cause i think it's quite funny.
When i watched along with them they started to went, 'Oh yay, Mandy is gonna slowly get influence and into it.' Hahaha. It's really funny and crazy, i wont pls. So we were all full and smelling quite stink so i suggested we go and walk around because it was really stinking up by the smell. We paid the bills and it was $28 or each person. In my opinion i think it's nice but just not worth $28. Hahaha.
We walked around and wanted to watch movie but there weren't any movie also. They suggested Teo Heng but it was full, and though they should really expand. Hahaha. So in the end we decided to go back to Jurong East, the swing. To digest, we walked to the bus stop which was quite far. We bade goodbye to Anna who was heading to Clarke Quay while 4 of us boarded 180 back.
Bus ride with them again and we talk and laugh all sorts of nonsense as usual. Hahaha. So we arrive and we just sat there and chill, used our phones. LOL. So i went up to the pull up bar and see whether i was able to pull my fat self up or not but unfortunately, i only manage to pull half. Oops more fats to lose la. Effffff....
Awhile later we went 7-11 and idk what gotten into me i actually wanted to buy ice cream. Fml. But i didn't buy but instead i got Tortilla Chips. Fmf(fat)l... :( I knew i was gonna regret but i still bought it anyway. -____- So we walked back to the bus stop to wait for Tiff's bus. It came shortly after then the 3 of us decided to cross the road and not take the overhead bridge. Then we walked our seperate ways back home. Yes, 3 of us just stay either few blocks away or 2 roads away. :)
